🌿 Rooted for Growth Episode 20: The Hope of Acceptance

This episode is one of the most personal and emotional recordings I’ve ever done.
October 7 marks one year since Eryn went home to be with the Lord… and releasing The Hope of Acceptance on this day feels both heavy and holy.

From the moment I sat down to record, I could feel the weight of the date. The tone is quieter — softer in the beginning and at the end — because grief still has a voice. It still matters. But through the quiet, there’s also peace… the kind that only comes from knowing God still meets us here, even when our hearts ache.

💔 A Year Later

A full year has passed since that night that changed everything. In some ways, it feels like yesterday — the shock, the silence, the disbelief. And in other ways, it feels like a lifetime ago because grief has slowly reshaped everything around me.

Acceptance isn’t a moment you arrive at… it’s a posture you grow into. It’s learning to hold on differently — to love differently — and to believe that even in loss, God is still writing something beautiful.

As I sat behind the mic, I didn’t try to force joy or polish the pain. I just let it be real. Because real is what helps us heal.

🌱 What This Episode Covers

In The Hope of Acceptance, I share:

  • How acceptance isn’t about “moving on” but moving forward with love

  • The emotional and spiritual layers of reaching this stage of grief

  • The lessons this year has taught me about presence, peace, and purpose

  • The reminder that God’s nearness doesn’t always feel loud — sometimes it whispers

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.” — Psalm 34:18 (KJV)

🕊️ Final Reflections

If you’re walking through your own valley, I pray this episode brings comfort and hope.
You don’t have to rush your healing. You don’t have to silence your sadness.
There is hope — even in acceptance — and it’s okay if that hope feels quiet today.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
Your prayers, your encouragement, and your stories remind me that we are truly rooted for growth… together.
